Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using AgentKavach (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service description
AgentKavach is a budget enforcement and cost tracking layer for applications that call Large Language Model (LLM) APIs. The SDK enforces budgets locally and ships telemetry to our backend, which renders dashboards and dispatches alerts through your configured channels (email, Slack, PagerDuty, webhooks).
3. Account responsibilities
- Keep your credentials secret. You are responsible for anything done with them.
- Your AgentKavach API keys are sensitive. Treat them like passwords. We surface auth failure counts on the Keys page so you can spot stolen or stale keys quickly.
- Your LLM provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) stay on your side. We never see them.
- Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use of your account.
4. Pricing
Three plans, billed monthly in USD via Stripe:
- Free: $0/month.
- Pro: $20/month.
- Max: $100/month.
We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
5. Tier limits
Current limits as of v0.1.0:

Agents registered beyond the cap are recorded as "rejected" and shown in the dashboard so nothing silently disappears. Daily event quotas reset at 00:00 UTC.
6. Acceptable use
- No abuse: do not deliberately overload the Service or attempt to evade rate limits.
- No reverse engineering, scraping of other customers' data, or attempts to compromise the platform.
- Do not use AgentKavach to enable or conceal unlawful activity.
- Do not resell or rebrand the Service without a written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
7. Billing
- Stripe processes all payments. We never see card numbers.
- Failed payments trigger an automatic downgrade to the Free tier after the grace period defined by our Stripe configuration.
- You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Email legal@agentkavach.com.
8. Account deactivate / delete
Two distinct actions live in Settings → Danger Zone:
- Deactivate (Phase 69). Pauses ingestion and alerts without deleting data. Reversible from the same screen.
- Delete (Phase 70). Irreversible. You must deactivate first. Deletion cascades across every table tied to your org (events, alerts, keys, payments, settings). The only artefact retained is the
org_deletionsaudit row, required so we can prove a deletion occurred if asked.
9. Service availability
AgentKavach is at v0.1.0. We operate the Service on a best effort basis and do not publish an SLA at this stage; formal SLAs will arrive with our enterprise tier. Crucially, budget enforcement runs locally in your process, so a backend outage does not let an over-budget call slip through.
10. Data ownership
You own your usage data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, aggregate, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to train models.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentKavach is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or LLM provider charges) arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability under these terms will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that budget enforcement will prevent every possible overspend. Provider pricing changes, network failures, and clock skew all exist. We do warrant that we take enforcement seriously, which is the whole reason this product exists.
12. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
13. Modifications
We may update these terms. Material changes get at least 30 days' notice by email and via a dashboard banner. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
